"My husband Dylan and I knew immediately when we got there that The Oaks was exactly where we wanted to get married. It was cozy, yet elegant. A place where our family and friends would feel comfortable, be able to relax and at the same time be wowed by the atmosphere. The staff at The Oaks proved to be icing on the cake from the time we signed our contracts as Caitlin Thomas and Dylan Stewart to the morning we drove off for our honeymoon as The Stewarts. Everyone was so welcoming, supportive and friendly. Our parents and bridal party stayed at the Inn all weekend with us and were able to experience the slower pace of St. Michaels with the luxury of a 5 star chef, accommodations, etc. The entire wedding weekend was seamless and perfect, and Dylan and I were able to focus on our family and friends- and most importantly- each other.

The Oaks makes weddings into an art form, worked with my dream, and were ready with great tips and advice when I needed it. They had every detail down to a science, were so well organized, the food was AMAZING, and the entire staff treated us as if this were the most important event of the year for them as well. We didn't have to worry about a thing the weekend of the wedding except enjoying the greatest event of our lives. The entire weekend including rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception were beautiful. The service provided by you and your staff was exceptional. We have received many compliments about the weekend. Our favorite was overheard by our wedding soloist who happened to be at the Baltimore Bridal Show on August 1st. She heard our DJ, Jason, tell several people that the wedding he just did at The Oaks was the "wedding of the summer." He had already put a picture of Jackie and Tom on his brochure!

I have been saving you for last because I don't even know how to sum up how grateful I am for everything that you did to make yesterday (and Friday) such a success. I know of about a million ways in which you helped, and I'm sure there are 3 million things that you did to make everything go off without a hitch that I don't even know about.
I think it was obvious that Seth and I had the best time ever, and we just loved that our guests were so happy as well. Everyone LOVED the Oaks. So much. Soo much. And we do too.
You have been so amazing to deal with for the past few months as we planned, so calm, yet so organized. So capable, and yet you do it all without looking like a maniac, and that is seriously impressive.

"I've been to my share of weddings in recent years, have heard all the stories about vendors and compared many notes before selecting The Oaks Inn. First of all, a wedding coordinator is included in the price quoted to you initially, which means that all of the details are not only covered but completely handled by Nicole van Winden. She sent me checklists, coordinated with all of my vendors, helped me to create timelines and menus and she even made table names for us (complete with pictures of Muppets she found on the internet to go along with our theme) when I ran to her at the last minute because I had forgotten our table names in packing for the wedding. Above and beyond doesn't even cover it, but we did not have to lift a finger during the entire wedding weekend. The bride/groom as well as immediate family had individual servers dedicated to ensuring that our time was dedicated to enjoying our guests without having to worry about one single thing. I would do it all over again!!!!!
